Cut aragonites reach truly astronomical prices on world markets. They are mostly offered in relatively large stones, but they are very expensive. The stone we offer is with a top cut in the shape of a regular multi-row oval. The offered aragonite comes from the Číčov hill near Hořenec in the Bohemian Central Highlands, the local aragonites are characterized by a very long fluorescence after the UV light is turned off. The size of the stone is 12,61 x 8,14 mm. Aragonite is completely unsuitable for jewellery (too soft and fissile), on the contrary, it will be a decoration of any collection of cut rarity gemstones.
