A beautifully coloured pink eosphorite from the Taquaral locality in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Eosphorite is a chemically very rare hydrated phosphate of Mn, Fe and Al. The stone is cut in the form of a trillion; it contains small diapers, but these only minimally affect this otherwise extremely interesting stone. Eosphorite is not suitable for jewellery, on the contrary, a true collector of rare gemstones will appreciate it in their collections.
